A Plantation Escape
The Sanctuary at Paradise Hill, is our plantation bungalow, set in the midst of our tea estate on the slopes of Paradise Hill, offering unmatched views of our tea estate and the valley below. Cocooned by hills on three sides, the bungalow has two suites that open out on to a verandah and further onto a garden and offers breathtaking views of the valley. The Bungalow is completely furnished with Teak and Rosewood furniture and has a beautiful bath and a shower area that also offer views of the surrounding hills.
Experiential Dining
Our carefully curated menu will take you on a journey through the vast and varied cuisines of Tamil Nadu including regional specialities from the neighbouring Kongunaad and Chettinaad areas amongst others. Needless to say we also serve the highly sought after local cuisine of the 'Badaga' community of The Nilgiris. Our curated lunch menus offer Anglo Indian Cuisine who have historically had a sizeable presence in The Nilgiris.
Our Activities
We offer a range of bespoke activities that include guided walks through plantations and hills that surround Paradise Hill. When in season go honey hunting with the Kurumba tribal community and experience their skills climbing down steep rock cliffs to gather honey, a skill passed down from one generation to another. The Sanctuary is also teaming with bird life and is a great place for bird watching.
Tariff
INR 15000 + taxes per room per couple per night.
Tariff includes breakfast.
Taxes at 18 %
Extra person tariff is Rs. 4000 + taxes per extra person over the age of 8 if any.
