'Voice of a Sentient Highland', a book written by Godwin Vasanth Bosco launched today. The book is based on 9 years of the authors research on the mountainous landscape of the Nilgiris and its unique Shola eco system.

The annual garden show showcasing plants from amateur gardeners from the Nilgiris held at the Coonoor Club today.
Three generations of violinists Padma Bhushan Dr. N. Rajam, Dr. Sangeeta Shankar, Ms. Nandini Shankar & Ms. Ragini Shankar along with a guest appearance of the renowned percussionist Padma Shri Sivamani perform in Ooty. Brought in by Hara Kol, a group looking to make the Nilgiris a cultural hub of India.
